Jodeci is back. After an 18-year hiatus, the ’90s R&B supergroup
reunites on its comeback single “Nobody Wins” featuring B.o.B. The
legendary quartet—DeVante Swing, Joel “JoJo” Hailey, Cedric “K-Ci”
Hailey, and Dalvin DeGrate—rally against domestic abuse on the powerful
anthem, which they debuted onstage at the Soul Train Awards last month.
“Nobody wins when we fight, fuss, and argue / Nobody wins, we say we leaving but we never do,” they sing.
“We aren’t immune to issues that are important in our community,” said K-Ci. “Domestic violence has always been an issue in relationships, but lately it’s been brought to the front of our community consciousness.”
The group is working on its first album in nearly 20 years with hitmakers including Timbaland. They also plan to launch a reunion tour next year.
