BRAND NEW SONG BY JHENE AIKO-Stay Ready Feat J HENNY

Jhené Aiko unleashes her rap alter ego J Henny aka J Hennessy on an alternate version of “Stay Ready (What a Life).” The L.A. songstress spits Kendrick Lamar’s original verse on The Fisticuffs-produced track off her EP Sail Out.
“She’s an aspiring rapper,” Jhené told Rap-Up TV of her rap persona. “She still sings, but she’s more aggressive. She likes to really talk a lot of shit and talk about things that a lot of R&B singers don’t talk about.”
We’ll have to wait and see if J Henny appears on her full-length debut Souled Out, due later this summer.
